LORAC cosmetics introduced their Fall 2015 collection last week at the 287 Gallery in Manhattan. The star of the collection is the Pro Contour Palette.

Carol Shaw famed make up artist and founder of LORAC ,and go to woman for Nicole Kidman was on hand to give tips and demonstrations on how to contour to bring out your best face.  With a combination of 6 powers the palette works for all shades. From the lightest to darkest. It includes 2 matt highlighted 1 shimmer highlighter and 3 matte contours shades to create a perfect features and higher cheekbones.

During the event Carol explained the exclusive custom PRO Contour Brush is the key to blending the perfect face. It is a dome shaped brush that easily works to contour the checks and blend with precise accuracy. I was really surprised to see how effective the contour magic was as I watched Carol blend and highlight a guests face. You could literally see the difference from one side to the other as if it was visibly lifted. My real suprise was later when I was in the chair myself being contured.  The colors blended beautifully and left completely natural look. I’m a convert of the contour now ! Now , its just the practice to make perfect. I’ve never really been big on the contouring but I will try it at home and post a my before and after soon.

What else is there to look forward to after the perfect face? Perfect eyes of course.
