For Fall 2016 BL went backstage for a peek at the look behind the Tracy Reese Fall Presentation. There were actually two looks in the show. One was evening and smoky ,while the other was daytime fresh. Hair was kept in natural shapes with added texture using Shea Moisture products. Lead stylist Bok -Hee and SheaMoisture Stylist Diane Bailey brought the looks to life.

Mary Kay beauty was behind this seasons look .Make up lead Deanna Melluso created the look based on Tracy’s love of her hometown Detroit. The entire collection was inspired by Detroit and the designer used film to display life through art . The short film called “A Detroit Love Story” showed the collection in motion and a respect for the city’s heritage.
Products Timewise Repair Volu-Firm Night Treatment with Retinol, Time Wise Luminous Wear Liquid Foundation , Mary Kay CC cream Sunscreen Broad Spectrum Sf15, Mary Kay Extra Emollient Night Cream , Mary Ka yMineral Eye color, Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara, Statin Lips Lip Balm ,, Mary Kay True Dimensions Sheer Lipstick. Mary Kay At Play shadow & liner in Rebel Rose.

The daytime look: A sheer finish was created using time wise repair with Time -wise Luminous wear liquid foundation, eye renewal cream for a subtle glow then sunscreen to the cheeks for a light contour.
Eyes were neutral. Melluso used Mary Kay Mineral eye color dusted on the lids in Moonstone and Chocolate Kiss . Lashes were natural in black mascara. Lips were soft and natural using a lip bam and Mary Kay true dimensions sheer lipstick.
All loved the night-time look with the eyes as the focus. The look of the deconstructed smoky eye was pretty striking. Melluso used At Play shadow & liner in Rebel Rose. Gel eyeliner is smudged and lined around the eye. She used a dental floss to create the deconstructed lines around the eyes. It’s almost punk but a neater, more contrived version.

Reese collaborated with Jamberry to get the nail look. Jamberry utilized 3 prints from the collection for nail wrap designs. These were available right after the presentation for the first time. The limited edition collection is available at Jamberry.com/tracyreese. The prints are Underground Floral is (a matte dark floral ombre) Smudgy floral (matte cherise floral) Urbanite (a mixed mani of black stripes on cherise and black stripes on clear)
Get them now and you will be set for Fall. I am looking forward to trying a few of these looks this in the Fall.
