Straight and sleek at Thomas Wilde

Lead Stylist Matthew Morris for Kerastase created sleek sexy straight hair for designer  Thomas Wylde for the  Fall 2016  runway show. Kerastase , the French beauty brand is know for fortifying hair with treatments. Morris used products from various collections from Elixir , Keratin, and Fibre  get sleek and smooth hair. Want to try it at home ? Here’s the  how to.

 

GET THE LOOK
1. On damp hair, apply Keratin Thermique roots through to the end of the hair shaft.
2. Layer Materialiste to root area, Elixir Ultime Bi-Phase Spray Oil to mid-lengths, and Fibre Architecte through ends.
3. Part the hair perfectly down the center, then blow-dry the hair forward towards face with a paddle brush to smooth and allow product to produce natural, shiny volume. Embrace natural bends in the hair.
4. After the root area is dry, concentrate on the mid-shaft and ends with a large round brush, directing hair down and rounding towards the face.

 

5. Guide large chunks of hair vertically through a flatiron, slightly beveling the ends toward the face.
6. To finish, apply Fibre Architecte through the ends and re-flatiron pieces to maximize chunky piece-y-ness and separation in the ends.

Curls at Altazurra

At Altazurra  curls and waves ruled the runway.  From coils to soft waves with the new Kerastase Curl collection in full effect we can see the looks on all textures .Hair lead Odile Gilbert for Kérastase Paris opted to keep the models hair natural with movement. Here are the steps and products to get  Kerastase curls .

 

 

 

 

 

 

STEPS 1 & 2 – ALL HAIR TYPES:

1. Prep hair with Nutritive Bain Satin  and  Lait Vital.
2. On damp hair, apply the NEW! L’Incroyable Blowdry Lotion (May launch) all over hair for heat protection, added moisture and style memory.

STEPS 3-6 STRAIGHT/LIGHT WAVE:

3. Apply Mousse Bouffante to the mid-lengths and ends of hair.
4. Next, twirl hair in 1″ sections and roughly blow dry with a diffuser, resulting in a tousled, natural look.
5. Flip the head over and fluff up hair at the crown of the head.
6. Spray Laque Dentelle all over for a flexible hold.

STEPS 3-6 CURLY/NATURAL HAIR:

3. Apply Curl Fever and roughly blow dry hair with a diffuser.
4. Touch up curls with a small, 3/8″ curling iron. Curl hair in tight ringlets all over, as needed.
5. Fluff and shake curls (do not brush) at the crown of the head to give a natural, tousled finish.
6. Spray Laque Dentelle all over for a flexible hold.
