On my desk are quite a few lippies in the “sample box”. But summer is here and all I can really think about for lips is a pretty orange-red. It’s a summer fave. So when I had a chance to take a peak the latest shade from Detroit based beauty brand The LipBar I was thrilled. The LipBar recently released this gorgeous new shade called Hot Mama. ($13.)

Hot Mama is a highly pigmented bold bright orange-red. It’s a matte liquid formula that to my surprise isn’t drying.  It’s vegan, organic, color Poppin and summer skin friendly! I love the packaging and the controllable wand application that goes on smooth. This is my first LipBar shade and I am truly impressed by the performance. I recently gave it a go during a friends birthday party and it lasted all night through several drinks and bites! I didn’t have to touch up once. Hot Mama is in full rotation in the make up bag now.
