Heatwave Sustenance! What To Do When It’s Too Hot To Eat

If you are anywhere in the United States then you know there is a nationwide heatwave none of us can escape.

This weekend with temperatures at 100 degrees and humidity at 1000% ( it felt like it.) I found my self standing in the kitchen sweating from well, just standing there. Mind you there is an AC at home just in another room. I have not moved into the central air luxury high-rise yet so until that day it’s single AC service. And right now the priority in the bedroom.

I spend little time meal prepping since it’s been hot. Honestly, a salad was too much effort this weekend. I just wanted something cool, cold and filling.
A smoothie!  Just coming from the gym I needed protein ASAP. So without further ado, I prepped a Vega Sport Protein vanilla smoothie instead of that veggie burger I planned on. I made my version of a satisfying vanilla pineapple protein smoothie instead.

I will drink this after a workout of even it I don’t feel like eating. It gives you essential greens, protein, and belly-flattening pineapple sweetness. Plus Vega is a plant based protein so it’s great for those looking for a vegan option.

Vanilla Pineapple Protein Smoothie

  • 1 half scoop of Vega Sport Performance Protein (Post-workout 15 grams of Protein)
1 Tablespoon of PB Fit Chocolate peanut butter power.
A few pieces of frozen pineapple.
1 scoop of KetoCredible Greens powder
    Ice.
  • Half cup of coconut or almond milk and half cup of water
  • Blend for a vanilla peanut butter pineapple smoothie.
This works great in a single smoothie maker or a blender.

Hope you like it as much as I do!
