Its 2015 and I’m starting off with some great hair products. Through trial and error I’ve found my faves from 2014  . With dry tresses prone to breakage I look for anything with moisture goals.  Have you tried any of these ? Let me know about your experience.

 

 

Carols Daughter Monoi Anti-breakage spray – This spray is amazing! It instantly repairs and detangles on contact . I’ve never seen a product work like this. To be honest the entire Monoi  collection is incredibly restorative . But if you have to choose 1 this is it. It will save your hair on wash days.

Alterna Caviar Exfoliating Scalp Facial– Like a scalp massage in a botttle. This product is full of active fruit enzymes to combat dry scalp and a unique blend of marine botanical called Seasilk to help with hydration. Just massage  the bristles  on my scalp and feels as good as a pair of hands.

Redken Diamond Collection– Redken is always great for curls .This line is no different . The oil in the mask will super hydrate tresses in a deep conditioning state. Like a salon in a bottle.

Alikay Naturals Avocado Repair Mask . I used this to detangle after taking braids out. It instantly softened and made detangling a cinch. Leave it on for up to 30 minutes and rinse for tangle free washing.

Shea Moisture – Balancing Conditioner . I love all things Shea Moisture but this conditioner is perfect for a quick smoothing co wash Also a good 20 min deep conditioner.

Shea Moisture Tahitian Noni and Monoi Shampoo and repair mask.The rich shampoo is moisturizing and left my 4A hair feeling super  soft . And the Smoothing Repair Mask afterwards to seal and stregthen dry hair. I like to treat my hair to this before straightening.

Dark And Lovely Au Natural Anti Breakage Creme. I love this for daily moistruizing a blow out or twist out. The coconut oil , honey guana root combo are designed to help hair resist breakage and keep the moisture in. Its very light and will not weight your style down either. It made for transitioning or natural hair.

Optimum Alma Legend Lustrous Body Blow Dry Mousse.
Amla is widley used by Indian women to enhance the beauty and strength of their hair .Optimum created a whole of line of products with it  for this reason. I used the blow dry mousse for a tension blow out with stellar results  with very little breakage .

Phyto Secret De Nuit -and Phyto Specfic Creme de Nuit Nightime creme treatment for continued moisture for up to 8 hours. You will literally wake up to hydrated hair. Phyto also launched a Creme de Nuit specifically for afro textured hair. This 48 hour formula  is infused with Kokum butter .The time release cream keep should be used every 2 days.

 

 

L’Oreal Paris Sleek it Frizz Vanisher Creme.

This creamy formula smells so fruity fruity on inspection. It’s a thick  leave in creme with the new Fibralock tech,  a patented matrix of humidity resistance. Ok so in laments terms  it keep frizz a bay for up to 3 days ! I like it with the mousse for blow drying or flat ironing days.
