THE LOOK:  FADED OMBRÉ

• Select your correct size KISS Salon Acrylic French Nude nails then adhere with glue
• File nails into a natural, almond shape using the KISS Washable File
• Mix a drop of each KISS Gel Strong Polish in Sweet Angel and French White to create a custom pink polish
• Dip the fan brush from the KISS Salon Secrets Nail Art Starter Kit into the custom polish and stoke the brush upward starting at the tip of the nail
• Use a thin brush to add a few brighter vertical lines using the custom blend polish
• Finish with KISS Gel Strong Topcoat

THE LOOK: CAPRI COOL

• Select the correct size imPRESS Manicure in Big Flirt then peel off and press-on
• Place the chevron shaped KISS Design Perfection, on the diagonal.  On the left hand, the design will be on the left, on the right hand, the design will be on the right
• Paint a thin black line along the inside V of the KISS Design Perfection with KISS Nail Artist Paint
• Using the KISS Nail Artist Paint, paint vertical stripes  along the tip of the nail, alternating between black and white
• On the side of the nail, paint horizontal stripes, alternating alternate between black and white
• Finish with KISS Gel Strong Topcoat

How To:

Pre the nail by shaping, gently buffing and cleaning up cuticles. Begin by applying a sticker stencil or thin painter’s tape diagonally across the nail. Next, paint ZOYA Naked Manicure Base coat on both sides of the sticker making sure not to seal in the sticker. To prevent nail discoloration or imperfections from showing, a NM Perfector (Lavender Perfector) can then be used in the same way as the Naked Base, to correct, perfect and smooth the nail surface. From the nail tip to the sticker, paint two coats of ZOYA Snow White on all ten fingers. Lift the tape to reveal the diagonal cut. Finish the manicure with a single coat of Naked Manicure Glossy Seal and Fast Dry Drops.

• THE VIBE:  Glam Guns & Roses.
• HOW TO GET THE LOOK: “The concept is very rock’n’roll, with a messy, grungy feel but still fashion forward,” says lead nail artist Naomi Yasuda for INGLOT. “The models have messy hair and heavy, smudgy eye makeup. So for nails I wanted to follow with a really cool grunge look.”
• THE KIT: “I used an oily grey-greenish color (INGLOT O2M Breathable Nail Enamel in #649) as a base for the girls, then did a black ombre (with INGLOT o2M Breathable Nail Enamel #692) – starting at the cuticle with black and the tip is green (INGLOT Nail Enamel#988 and #987). The men’s nails are going to have a clear nail (o2m Breathable Base) with black ombre coming from the cuticle (withINGLOT o2M Breathable Nail Enamel #692). The reason why I did it from the cuticle is because it looks somewhat dirty to go along with the theme but in a fashionable, edgy way.”
