Sometimes you just want to get out of the city for a for a culinary experience on the water . Where to go? Surf City just across the water in Jersey City is the perfect spot to get away for a few hours with friends. Brunch or dinner here is like ” staycation for locals ” say John Argento ,Director of Operations. With three bars, a deck, fire pit and lots of tasty cocktails just having a few drinks takes you to a tropical oasis.
During a recent outing at Surf City I had the opportunity to experience the fantastic seafood menu. What’s great about this place is there is something for everyone. If seafood is not your thing try one of their tasty burgers or sandwiches or quesadillas.

Recommended must haves include Seafood faves like Paella, CrabLegs and lobster mac and cheese and  Grilled Mayan Shrimp. Great food and great views on the Hudson make Surf City the perfect choice for summer dining.
